Onestop Roofing Supplies are an award-winning, independent roofing supplies company with a busy trade counter and warehouse in Govan, Glasgow. We have been supplying a full range of competitively priced roofing supplies to the trade and public for over 30 years.

 

CURRENT VACANCIES

 

Class 2 Driver

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out multi drop deliveries of roofing materials to both trade and domestic customers throughout central Scotland.

We’re looking for you to:

  • Deliver roofing materials using a Class 2 vehicle
  • Drive and operate the vehicle safely in accordance with the law
  • Secure loads and follow all site safety protocols
  • Load and unload materials at a variety of customer sites
  • Ensure that the arrival and delivery of the goods is safe and respect the customer’s property
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and basic paperwork
  • Report damages, safety issues, accidents, or any other issues to your manager.

Skills required:

  • Full UK Class 2 (Cat C) Licence
  • Up to date Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
  • Experienced driver as we deliver to varied and sometimes complex sites
  • Qualified HIAB experience is advantageous
  • Multi-drop experience essential
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good time management
  • Safety conscious
  • Good geographical knowledge of Central Scotland

Personal attributes:

  • Experience delivering roofing or building supplies is advantageous
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Can work independently but fits in well in a team
  • Work safely in line with Health and Safety guidelines

Hours:

  • Full-time, Permanent
  • Monday – Friday 7:30-17:00 as standard, and Saturday 08:00-12:00 as required
